EY Law appoints employment director

EY Ireland has appointed Aoife Gallagher-Watson as director in employment law at its law practice EY Law Ireland.

Gallagher-Watson has more than 15 years’ experience in employment law, having worked in-house and with leading law teams in Ireland and overseas.

She has extensive experience in advising and representing companies and senior executives in connection with work health-and-safety obligations, regulatory investigations, and prosecutions.

Welcoming the appointment, Deirdre Malone (head of employment law, EY Law Ireland) said that Gallagher-Watson's expertise in employment and workplace health-and-safety law would “greatly enhance our ability to provide comprehensive and tailored advice to our clients”.

Alan Murphy (head of EY Law Ireland) added that the appointment reflected “the continued growth and success” of EY’s law practice.
