New head of Walkers’ employment-law team

International legal and professional-services firm Walkers has appointed employment-law expert Dermot Casserly as partner and head of its employment-law team in Ireland.

Before joining Walkers, Casserly led the employment team at DWF in Ireland and previously held roles at Beauchamps Solicitors and KPMG.

Jonathan Sheehan (managing partner, Walkers’ Ireland office) said that Casserly’s “deep knowledge and practical approach” aligned with Walkers’ commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Casserly’s experience spans redundancy consultations, union negotiations, and comprehensive employment audits.

“I am excited to be part of a highly collaborative firm and to engage with my colleagues across our jurisdictions to deliver the very best in legal and professional services for our clients," said Casserly.
