Philip Lee appoints four new partners

Commercial-law firm Philip Lee has appointed four new partners across some of its key practice areas.

The firm says that the appointments of Niall Donnelly, Alison Murray, Patrick Kane, and Jennifer Darcy reflect its continuing growth.

Managing partner Jonathan Kelly said that the new partners’ expertise would be “instrumental in strengthening our ability to deliver exceptional results for our clients”.

Donnelly, who becomes a partner in energy and natural resources, specialises in advising clients on complex projects and regulatory matters in the energy sector, in particular renewable-energy deals.

Murray (public and regulatory) specialises in providing advisory and litigation services to regulators, statutory bodies, and private clients, with a particular focus on public and administrative law, data-protection law, statutory drafting, and statutory interpretation.

Kane (projects and construction) has expertise in public-procurement and construction projects and has advised public bodies on the acquisition of modern IT systems and modifying high-value IT contracts, as well as advising both public- and private-sector clients on strategic public-works projects.

Darcy (commercial litigation) specialises in advising on a broad range of contentious matters, with a particular focus on banking and corporate disputes, civil fraud, and insolvency matters before the High Court, Commercial Court, and Court of Appeal.
