Hibernian Law Journal in call for articles

The Hibernian Law Journal is now accepting submissions of articles and case notes for publication in Volume 24.

The deadline for articles is 24 February and that for case notes is 10 March.

Established in 1999, the Hibernian Law Journal is a legal journal co-ordinated by trainee and qualified solicitors.

Dr Jonathan O’Rourke, a trainee solicitor with VP McMullin LLP, was recently appointed as editor-in-chief for Volume 24.

The periodical welcomes article submissions of between 5,000-15,000 words on any topic of Irish law.

Articles relating to European and international law are considered if relevant in an Irish context.

The Journal also welcomes case notes on significant decisions by Irish or European courts from the past year.

Annual prize

An annual prize, chosen by the Journal’s judge-in-residence, is awarded for the best article.

Submissions should be sent to editor@hibernianlawjournal.com

Submission guidelines can be found at www.hibernianlawjournal.com.
