Seminar on alternative careers for lawyers

The PPC Connect Committee is hosting a careers talk on Tuesday 28 January at the Law Society’s green theatre.

PPC trainees who are curious about where a career in law can take them outside of traditional paths are invited to join  for ‘Alternative Careers in Law’.

This will be an inspiring seminar hearing from accomplished professionals who have carved unique journeys in the legal world. 

Speakers include:

  • James McEvoy (in-house solicitor, Eirgrid),
  • Cliodhna Guy (head of governance and legal, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board),
  • Sarah West (policy and advocacy counsellor, Irish Red Cross),
  • Robert Connolly (legal recruiter, Amicus).

Refreshments and canapes will be served after this in-person event which offers networking opportunities.

A Zoom link will also be available.
