Value and volume of services up in November

In November last year, the value and volume of services in the economy saw positive growth compared with both October 2024 and November 2023, CSO data shows.

The value of services rose by 1.8% month-on-month, and the volume increased by 2.8%.

Increases

The largest monthly increases in value and volume were recorded in ‘other service activities’, which grew by 12.6% in value and 11.5% in volume.

Compared with November 2023, the value of services was up 16.7%, with the largest increases in the information and communication sector (+24.4%) and other service activities (+18.2%).

The volume of services increased by 17.6%.
