Law Society’s ‘Blue Room’ due for refurbishment

Works in the main Law Society building in Blackhall Place will result in some disruption during July and August.

These renovations are needed to upgrade some Law Society facilities, in line with  conservation requirements for the building.

Services such as the library will remain open as usual.

Access to library and café

Due to renovations in the Blue Room and surrounding areas, the corridor to the Library, including the section around the Dining Room and toilets, will be temporarily closed.

The work is starting in July and should be completed before the end of August.

Members and visitors during this period, please note:

  • Access to the library, basement café, and surrounding areas will be via alternative routes,
  • Members staying in the B&B who need access to the café will be redirected,
  • Some noise disruption is expected in the vicinity of the works.
