Blackhall Place trainees win ADR contest

Three Blackhall Place trainees have won a prize at the prestigious International Academy of Dispute Resolution (INADR) 2025 mediation competition in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Gráinne Ní Fhrighil (DLA Piper), Kate Lyttle (William Fry), and Cian McAllister (Dillon Eustace) were named Best Client-Advocate Team in the competition.

Title

Coached by Claire O’Mahony, head of lifelong learning at the Law Society, the team competed against 25 teams from the USA, EU, and Asia to take the title.

The competition was hosted by the University of Georgia and the INADR from 4-9 March.

John Lunney and Rachael Hession of the Law Society also mentored the winning team.
