Lavelle Partners appoints four new solicitors

Dublin-based law firm Lavelle Partners LLP has appointed four new solicitors after the successful completion of their traineeships with the firm.

The newly qualified solicitors are:

  • Liam Tully (property),
  • Avril Carroll (medical negligence and personal injury),
  • Aisling Shiels (litigation and dispute resolution), and
  • Méabh Flynn (corporate and commercial).

Managing partner Michael Lavelle said that the appointments reflected the firm’s commitment to creating “a supportive and collaborative environment, ensuring our trainees gain invaluable experience while enhancing our firm culture”.

Expansion

Tully has a particular focus on the acquisition, disposal, leasing, and financing of commercial and residential property, while Carroll specialises in representing plaintiffs in medical-negligence and personal-injury claims.

Shiels has experience in acting in defamation cases, breach-of-contract litigation, property and construction disputes, and professional-negligence litigation, while Flynn advises on M&A deal, corporate and commercial arrangements, and corporate governance.

The new appointments follow the recent promotions of Georgina Lanigan and Dermot McClean as partners, as the firm plans a move to new offices as part of its continued expansion.
