RDJ appoints Erc Walsh as real estate partner

RDJ has appointed Erc Walsh as a partner in its real estate and finance practice.

Based in RDJ’s Galway office, the firm says that the appointment will reinforce its commitment to expanding its national practice and strengthening its presence in the west.

Complex transactions

Walsh brings significant experience advising on complex finance transactions, with a particular focus on property finance. He has acted for both lenders and borrowers on a range of matters – including investment and development financing, loan portfolio sales, and debt and security restructurings.

RDJ now has a growing national team of over 30 solicitors dedicated to property and finance matters across its offices in Galway, Cork and Dublin.

Head of the real-estate group Evin McCarthy, said: “Erc’s deep experience in complex and structured finance transactions strengthens our capacity to support developers, financial institutions and investors.”

Erc Walsh said that the firm’s strong reputation in property and finance provided an excellent platform to support clients on complex transactions.
