Global law firm Dentons has appointed Carlo Salizzo as a partner in its TMT (technology, media, and telecoms) practice in Dublin.
Salizzo, who joins the firm today (4 February), specialises in technology and commercial contracts, digital regulation, data protection, privacy, intellectual property, and consumer law.
He is dual-qualified in Ireland and New Zealand, and Dentons says that his expertise will position it to meet the increasing demand for sophisticated, multi-jurisdictional advice in a rapidly evolving sector.
His appointment follows that of partner David Kirton, who joined the Dublin TMT practice in October 2025.
Paul Jarvis (CEO of Dentons UK, Ireland, and Middle East) said that the appointment would enable the firm to expand its TMT work with Ireland's large domestic and multinational companies and financial institutions.
Eavan Saunders (managing partner for Dentons in Ireland) said that the appointment would accelerate Dentons’ growth in Dublin and enhance its ability to support European-headquartered tech companies.
“His expertise positions us to deliver seamless, multi-jurisdictional solutions in an increasingly regulated sector,” she added.
