Beauchamps has promoted Jeanie Kelly to become a partner in its projects, infrastructure, and energy group.
Kelly, who joined the firm in January last year, will specialise in planning-and-environment law.
Beauchamps says that the promotion reflects its continuing growth, and comes after it hired eight partners last year.
Kelly brings over seven years of specialised experience advising both public- and private-sector clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious planning and environmental matters.
Her work spans sectors such as renewable energy, utilities, telecoms, housing, natural resources, forestry, and agriculture.
Kelly has advised Irish Water on the Arklow Waste Water Treatment Plant Project, one of the country’s largest infrastructure developments, and has also supported National Broadband Ireland on the roll-out of the National Broadband Plan.
Stuart Conaty (partner and head of planning and environment) said that Kelly had made “outstanding contributions” to the firm since joining, and had demonstrated “exceptional ability” to resolve complex legal matters.
