Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has appointed Lisa Carty as the new head of the firm’s Dublin office.
Carty joined Pinsent Masons in 2023 as a partner, having previously practised at William Fry.
Pinsent Masons describes her as a "highly respected commercial litigator”, who brings extensive experience advising clients on complex contractual disputes, financial-services disputes, and judicial-review proceedings involving public bodies.
The firm says that, in her new role, Carty will lead the continued growth and strategic direction of Pinsent Masons’ Dublin office, supporting the firm’s clients across Ireland and internationally.
Laura Cameron (managing partner, Pinsent Masons) described Dublin as “a key strategic market” for the firm, adding that it continued to present “significant opportunities” in financial services, technology, infrastructure, and the wider business landscape.
“Lisa’s track record, sector insight and commitment to delivering exceptional client outcomes make her an outstanding leader for our Dublin office,” Cameron stated.
Carty said that it was an “exciting time” to take up the mantle of leading the Dublin office, as the firm continued to expand its practice.
Pinsent Masons set up its Dublin office in 2017 to meet growing demand for specialist legal services in Ireland.
