McCann FitzGerald rolls out enterprise-wide AI

McCann FitzGerald LLP has said that it is the first law firm in Ireland to deploy firmwide Harvey AI, a global leader in generative artificial intelligence solutions tailored for the legal profession.

This enterprise-wide rollout marks a major milestone in McCann FitzGerald's adoption of Harvey AI, which began in early 2024.

The firm said the move reflected a conviction that the effective deployment of cutting-edge technology is integral to maintaining its position at the top tier of the Irish legal market.

Analysis

Harvey AI enables the firm's lawyers to deepen their analysis, expedite insights and streamline legal workflows – reinforcing, rather than replacing, the expert legal judgment and rigorous professional standards on which the firm's reputation is built, it stated.

McCann FitzGerald has undertaken a comprehensive review of generative AI’s opportunities and limitations, the firm added.

Commenting, managing partner Stephen Holst said: " At its core, McCann FitzGerald's investment in generative AI is driven by its commitment to clients.

“By equipping every lawyer and professional across the firm with Harvey AI, McCann FitzGerald is ensuring that its people have the best available tools to enhance the depth and precision of their work.”
