Matheson launches two new graduate schemes
Law firm Matheson has launched two new programmes aimed at giving graduates experience and training in a range of areas.
The 18-month Innovation and Legal Tech Graduate Programme will allow successful graduates to work as a legal-solutions assistant in Matheson’s digital-services division.
The firm says that participants will have a dedicated training scheme to gain experience across a range of areas – including client-solutions research, legal-process optimisation, and research and development.
Supporting ‘diverse talent’
Matheson has also launched a two-year Business Services Graduate Programme, giving graduates the chance to complete a number of six-month periods across a number of the firm’s teams – including learning and development, HR, strategic accounts, practice-area marketing, and business development.
Graduates on this programme will also be able to choose a rotation in Matheson’s IT, finance, risk, pricing, or facilities divisions.
Matheson currently recruits more than 100 graduates a year through a range of schemes.
“Our new graduate programmes reflect our continued commitment to delivering innovative legal-tech solutions, and to supporting diverse graduate talent with multi-disciplinary skills,” said managing partner Michael Jackson (pictured).
Applications are now open for both programmes. The closing date for applications is Sunday, 20 March.
