Chancery List hearing dates to be fixed

Hearing dates for new cases which have been certified as ready for hearing in the High Court Chancery List are to be fixed on 15 October.

The Courts Service says hearing dates will also be fixed for Revenue cases.

Parties who wish to apply for hearing dates in these categories of cases should contact the Chancery registrar by email (marykelly@courts.ie) in order to be included in the list to fix dates on 15 October.

Remotely

The list will be conducted remotely and the virtual courtroom numbers and relevant instructions are available to members through the Law Society website.

Litigants in person should attend court in person in the courtroom published in the Legal Diary.

The next available dates for hearing may be assigned by consent without the necessity for attendance in court by e-mailing the registrar and attaching the consents of all parties.

The Courts Service says this notice relates only to applications for hearing dates in actions certified as ready for hearing and Revenue cases. Hearing dates for any other matters in the Chancery List adjourned due to COVID-19 will be assigned on 22 October.
