Circuit Court family law staggered call-over guide

The Courts Service has asked us to draw the following Guidelines Notice to the attention of all family law practitioners.

  • ONLY 1 representative from each party is to be present at the callover. If additional persons are required, then the matter will be assigned a time in court.
  • The earliest hearing for a motion will be 11.00am. Under NO circumstances should clients or additional personnel attend the courts building before this time.
  • Parties should only attend at their stated time.
  • Parties MUST leave the building after their case has been called and return at the allotted time issued to them at the call-over.
  • Parties should be ready to proceed, with all affidavits filed and exchanged prior to the call-over date, so as to avoid unnecessary adjournments.

In the interest of keeping these courts open and safe, it is essential that everybody adheres to the above guidelines.
