DCU moot court contest to be streamed live

Dublin City University (DCU) will host the 11th National Moot Court Competition live final on Saturday 21 November at 3.15pm.

Sponsored by A&L Goodbody, this is the first time the prestigious event will be held virtually, and it is the largest event to date, with a total of 40 teams from 14 universities across Ireland and the UK taking part.

Following preliminary knockout rounds, two teams will take part in the grand finale, which will take place from 3.15˗5pm.

Skills

The inter-law school competition is designed to give law students an opportunity to put their study into practice, giving them an opportunity to demonstrate their skills before prominent members of the legal profession.

This important event in the Irish legal calendar, will be chaired by Mr Justice John MacMenamin of the Supreme Court (DCU’s judge-in-residence).
