Death of Boyle solicitor Thomas Callan

The death has been announced of Thomas L Callan, a former partner in Boyle-based law firm CE Callan & Co.

Mr Callan passed away peacefully on Tuesday (30 March).

He entered on the roll of solicitors in 1949, and practised in CE Callan & Co, which is now Callan Tansey Solicitors LLP, for more than 50 years.

Private service

Due to the current Government guidelines on COVID-19 restrictions, a private service will take place on Friday 2 April at 11am in St Joseph's Church, Boyle, with burial afterwards in Ardcarne Cemetery.

The funeral service can be viewed on www.boyleparish.ie.

As a mark of respect, the offices of Callan Tansey in Sligo, Boyle, Dublin, Ballina and Galway will close on Tuesday 6 April.
