Death of retired Judge Mary Kotsonouris

Retired judge of the District Court, Justice Mary Kotsonouris, has died after a short illness.

The death took place on Tuesday, 2 February, at Belmont House nursing home. She is mourned by her son Vassily, her daughter Anna, and pre-deceased by her daughter Bridget, and will be sadly missed by a wide family circle and her many friends.

Funeral

Due to current public-health restrictions, a private funeral will take place at 9.30am on Saturday, 6 February, which may be viewed online, at the parish of the Holy Cross, Dundrum, Dublin 14.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Peter McVerry Trust.

Earlier this week, the sudden death took place of Mr Noel Grehan, husband of Ms Justice Carmel Stewart of the High Court, and previously of the Court of Appeal.

May they rest in peace.
