Ken Murphy lined up for younger members’ group

The Director General of the Law Society, Ken Murphy, will be the guest speaker at the next online information session organised by the Society’s Younger Members Committee (YMC).

Mr Murphy (pictured), who is preparing to retire after 26 years in the post, will speak to the YMC’s Jennifer Dorgan on the topic of The Solicitors Profession – Past, Present and Future? on Tuesday 2 March at 7pm.

Spring series

The Spring series of sessions, which focus on career management and associated matters such as mental health and wellbeing, began earlier this week.

The sessions begin at 7pm and are 20 to 25 minutes long. The aim is to provide summary information on each topic covered, with suggestions on how to follow up and to pursue the matter further.

These sessions are held over Zoom and all younger solicitors and trainees are invited to participate. There is no charge for these events but pre-registration is required.
