October sitting of FE1 exams postponed

The Law Society has postponed the October sitting of the FE-1, following the escalation of Dublin to Level 3 of the ‘Living with COVID-19’ plan.

Subject to any extension of the Level 3 status, or any other public health guidance/restrictions yet to be announced, the FE-1 sitting will commence in the first week of November.

Once logistical arrangements have been confirmed an updated exam timetable will issue.

The Law Society has been actively exploring an online option that would maintain the integrity of the FE-1 examination and is engaged with a number of providers.

Capacity

However, no provider had the capacity to provide an online offering for the October FE-1 examination.

The March sitting of the FE-1 exams was rescheduled for August,as a result of COVID restrictions.

A designated helpline has been established to deal with any questions exam candidates might have.

Please contact M.Bermingham@LawSociety.ie or 01- 672 4910 with queries.
