Sharp rise in summer internship applications

Maples and Calder LLP saw an increase of 137% this year on the number of 2020 applications for the firm's professional internship programme.

There was interest from 837 applicants, up from 353 last year, with a much higher increase in applications from universities outside of Dublin.

Maples Group is extending the length of the 2021 training period from three to four weeks.

Sponsorship

Maples will shortly be announcing more details on an academic sponsorship in UCC and is offering a scholarship for its LLM in business law.
