The Law Society Career Support Service offers extensive assistance for solicitors facing various career challenges from job seeking difficulties to returning to work advice. This complimentary service for Law Society members includes both one-on-one support and group programmes throughout the year. 

Helpline Support

Solicitors can contact Career Support (Monday to Friday), via telephone or email to confidentially discuss career related matters with a career adviser. Email careers@lawsociety.ie  

Career Consultations

Confidential private meetings can be arranged either by phone or online. 

Job Seeking Support

A variety of job seeking supports are offered, including CV reviews with feedback, and assistance with job seeking strategies and interview preparation. 

Women in Leadership Mentoring Programme

Returners Programme

A dedicated programme for solicitors returning to work after an extended absence. The programme provides a support network of like-minded solicitors and a structured path from considering a return to addressing CVs, interviews, negotiations and necessary regulatory requirements.
