Ferry Solicitors LLP are a busy and well established legal practice in the heart of Dublin city centre, seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping functions within a fast paced legal environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, detail-focused and comfortable working independently.
Key requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years bookkeeping experience, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and general ledger management.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing client and office accounts.
- Posting daily transactions and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Processing invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Liaising with solicitors and support staff regarding financial queries.
- Assisting with month end and year end reporting.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and regulatory requirements.
