Fagan Killeen LLP are looking for a Conveyancing Solicitor to join their team. The successful solicitor will become a valuable member of the team and will work with experienced practitioners and excellent support staff on the North Side of the City Centre. The role would be suitable for a newly qualified solicitor with experience in residential conveyancing or a solicitor with 2 years experience in general practice.
The primary role:
You will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. This includes:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases;
- Transfers of equity and remortgages;
- Title checks, raising queries, and drafting contracts;
- Liaising with clients, estate agents and lenders;
- Ensuring transactions proceed smoothly and efficiently;
The role will allow for development in other areas of practice and is not solely in conveyancing as the practice provides private client services in Probate, Estate Planning, Litigation and providing general legal advice.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in conveyancing matters.
- Have excellent computer skills and a knowledge of legal management software – One Advanced.
- Have strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to communicate and a willingness to learn.
- Have excellent attention to detail and be capable of working to deadlines.
- Be organised and have good diary and file management skills.
- Be committed to working as part of a team.
