Orpen Franks Solicitors LLP, a leading mid-sized Dublin law firm, is seeking a Senior Associate for their Corporate Commercial team.
The Team
Orpen Franks Solicitors LLP Corporate and Commercial division deal extensively with all types of Corporate and Commercial transactions. They provide a comprehensive and professional service, adapting to the ever-changing landscape of Corporate and Commercial law in Ireland. Claire Morgan, Partner, heads the team.
The team covers all aspects of Commercial and Corporate law including share and asset sale and purchases, company restructuring, partnership agreements, commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, intellectual property, joint ventures and company secretarial matters. The team work closely with other departments to ensure the provision of seamless and results driven advice. The firm is part of an international network of independent law firms.
Key responsibilities:
Candidates must have experience in working as part of a corporate transaction team and the position will involve a broad range of responsibilities, including:
- Drafting and negotiating share and asset sale and purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and ancillary documents;
- Leading and managing both sell-side and buy-side transactions to completion;
- Providing company law and commercial law advice; and
- Contract drafting, negotiations and advising across a variety of sectors.
The position is suitable for a qualified solicitor with 6 years or more post qualification experience and good academic background and training. The successful candidate will work well with experienced professionals within a team environment whilst maintaining high work standards. They will thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, adapting well to new areas of law.
The individual must have corporate transactional experience, be a good communicator, have an ability to manage own work and with excellent attention to detail. Orpen Franks Solicitors LLP welcome applications even where your experience may not perfectly match the criteria they have set out.
