One is a permanent position, the second is a maternity contract with the possibility of permanency.

Medisec is one of the leading professional indemnity insurance providers for healthcare professionals in Ireland and assists its members whenever their professional reputation is at risk. At times that can include a clinical negligence claim for damages, involvement in a tribunal or inquest, or an ethical or disciplinary matter. They also strive to provide outstanding education to their members, help reduce risk, incidence of complaints and claims and to promote best practice in patient safety and care.

The roles

The successful candidates will:

Advise Medisec members on the full range of medical, ethical or legal queries and dilemmas arising in day-to-day practice.

Work with the team on risk management awareness, education and training.

Assist members with matters relating to professional conduct and ethics.

The candidates

You will require a strong knowledge of the medico-legal field in Ireland, have up to 5 years’ post qualification experience, excellent oral and written communication skills, empathy, confidence, an eye for detail and effective time-management.
