What are Law Society Micro-credentials?

Law Society micro-credentials are short, flexible, and accredited courses designed to provide targeted, high-quality legal education and professional development, enabling learners to upskill or reskill in specific areas of law and practice.

  • Fee: €950 (solicitors) €1,050 (other professionals)
  • Delivery method: 15 hours, opening sessions online, pre-recorded e-releases and live online workshops
  • Assessment: Check individual course webpages for details
  • Workshops: Each course features workshops to consolidate knowledge<
  • CPD hours: 15 hours available

Accreditation and stackability

Upon successfully completing a course assignment, a digital micro-credential is awarded. This is a recognised qualification that can be added to your CV, and LinkedIn profile, as proof of a standard of knowledge in a specific subject.

*The awards above are relevant to solicitors and barristers. Other professionals will be awarded an Advanced Certificate in Legal Studies or an Advanced Diploma in Legal Studies.
