Application process

Scenes from the 2025 Justice Media Awards

  • Review the eligibility guidelines;
  • Select your category;
  • Prepare your accompanying materials;
  • Submit your entry.

Submission guidelines

All applicants must complete the online form. All print/online entry files should be uploaded to the form as a PDF. We cannot accept any entries that do not follow this format.  

Audio and video entries should include a link to a file sharing platform to access files e.g. via Google Drive file, WeTransfer, Dropbox or another file sharing link. Please ensure all files are accessible to people outside your organisation.  

Please note: 

  • If you are submitting multiple print or online articles in one entry, files must be combined in a single PDF file, in order of priority and uploaded to the entry form. A maximum of five articles should be included in any one entry.  
  • If your audio-visual entry exceeds 20 minutes, please indicate time makers for the best 20 minutes of footage or audio that relates directly to the law to be judged. If this is not specified, the first 20 minutes will be judged.  
  • For category 15 and 16 you must submit a sample of your work to a maximum of five pieces of content, which should be ordered by priority. If submitting print or online articles, these should be compiled and uploaded in a single PDF file.

The applicable period for entries is 1 March 2025 – 28 February 2026. 

The closing date for entries is 5pm on Wednesday 4 March 2026.
