Law Society of Ireland welcomes imminent resumption of full-day court sittings
The Law Society of Ireland has welcomed the news that the Courts Service is hoping to resume full-day hearings imminently, perhaps as early as tomorrow.
President of the Law Society of Ireland Michele O’Boyle said, “While we await a detailed statement by the Courts Service, we are glad to note that the question of limiting court sittings to two hours has been clarified and resolved.”
“We look forward to continuing to work with the Courts Service to significantly increase the very low volume of cases currently being listed before the courts while complying fully with public health guidelines. This is vital to provide access to justice for the public.”
