Attorney General to deliver keynote speech to new graduates
Seamus Woulfe SC will be the guest speaker at the Law Society of Ireland’s Parchment Ceremony.
Held in the historic surroundings of Blackhall Place, Dublin, Mr Woulfe will formally welcome the newest recruits into the profession and share his own experiences from an extensive legal career.
Overseeing the ceremony for his first time will be Law Society President, Mr Michael Quinlan, who began his presidential term in November 2017.
“As the chief law officer of the State, we are delighted to welcome the Attorney General to address the 65 graduates as they launch their careers”, said Director General of the Law Society, Ken Murphy.
“Mr Woulfe will be able to provide an insight into the challenges and opportunities facing the profession and graduates in a highly competitive environment.”
Also in attendance will be President of the High Court, The Hon. Mr. Justice Peter Kelly and President of the District Court, Her Hon. Judge Rosemary Horgan.
