Aim and objectives

The aims and objectives of this event are to give legal professionals and professionals working within the technology industry in Ireland insights into the challenges facing the industry with regards to AI and GDPR issues.

The law of privacy is of enormous importance to the citizens and businesses of this State. Ireland has a unique role within the European Union in this regard. The conference is designed to expose lawyers and businesses operating in Ireland to the latest and most expert thinking where challenges of great complexity are continuing to arise.

The event will highlight the importance of privacy law to the many Irish and multinational companies that carry on business in Ireland, will discuss the considerable pool of legal expertise in the area in Ireland and the importance of considering, at the highest level, the impact on privacy concerns of the inevitable development of AI.

This seminar is suitable for legal professionals who work in fields relating to AI and GDPR, and professionals working within the technology industry in Ireland, including their clients.
