Learn the fundamentals of agribusiness and food law this autumn

Applications are being accepted for the Certificate in Agribusiness and Food Law which explores regulatory frameworks, organic farming, food regulation and enforcement.

Learning outcomes

Commencing on 26 October, the Certificate in Agribusiness and Food Law will provide participants with the legal knowledge required to advise agri-food clients, together with a practical understanding of the business environments in which such clients operate. You will be provided with an insight into the legislative and regulatory structures that apply to the sector, together with an analysis of recent case law.

The syllabus gives comprehensive coverage of the ‘farm to fork’-related legal issues that apply in this vibrant part of our economy. The rules and regulations that apply to more specialised and growing areas of farming, such as organic food and farming, will also be explored.

"The course gave me an excellent understanding of the principles of agribusiness and food law. It was very well structured, with a good balance of theory and practical content. The workshops really helped with the practical application of new knowledge. The quality and diversity of the lecturers, all with considerable professional experience, were excellent.
