ESG MOOC continues through July

Over 3,200 students are participating in the annual Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), delivered by the Diploma Centre team at the Law Society.

About the MOOC

The participants criss-cross countries worldwide, with students from Brazil, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, France, Croatia, Jamaica, Sweden, Ukraine and Uganda taking part in the course.

Live Panel Event

The live panel event took place on 9 July and featured Rachel Widdis, Director EMEA, ArticleOne, and Aonghus Kelly, Lawyer and Head of the International Crimes Legal Unit at EUAM discussing ESG and human rights.

Expert speakers

This year’s MOOC has boasted an exceptional programme of talks and live Q&A sessions with a host of expert speakers. The opening address was delivered by Ossian Smyth (Green Party Minister of State with responsibility for public procurement, e-Government and the circular economy) and Law Society Director General, Mark Garrett, and other contributors include:
