New Diploma in Director Skills and Duties starts in March
04/02/2025 09:23:00Applications for the new Diploma in Director Skills and Duties are being welcomed by the Law Society Diploma Centre.
This course aims to equip solicitors with the specialist skills required to take on non-executive director or trustee roles.
Key elements of corporate governance will be examined, including fiduciary duties, and understanding financial, ESG and other internal reports. Students will gain insight into board meetings and effective board behaviour through participation in an innovative boardroom simulation module. In addition, a crisis management module will help students to prepare, respond and recover in the face of an urgent organisational issue.
