What's the number?

All solicitors in Ireland are assigned a unique solicitor number - eg S1234 - when they are admitted to the Roll of Solicitors. This is your username for the Law Society website, and for access to the secure eVoting platform for Council elections. With Council elections now taking place exclusively through eVoting, your solicitor number is essential to have your say in the future of the profession.

Where to find it

Your solicitor number is printed on your Practising Certificate (PC), and on your letter of admission. You may also have it saved in your browser as your username for lawsociety.ie.

Don't know your number?

If you don't know your solicitor number, our team are happy to help. Just contact webmaster@lawsociety.ie - after a few quick questions to verify your identity, our team will provide it to you.

Please note: We can only help an individual account holder to log in to their account.

eVoting

The upcoming eVoting platform has been designed to use the same login credentials as you use for Lawsociety.ie - your solicitor number and password. For more information about the project, visit eVoting.
