The Law Society’s third Well Within the Law festival featured in the Financial Times on 20 October in an article on absurdity in the workplace.

The festival forms part of the Law Society’s culture change project. Its theme last month was ‘This is Absurd’, which provided an opportunity to explore the unspoken complexities of legal life and reflect on what is possible when a community comes together with openness and curiosity.

Antoinette Moriarty, Law Society’s Director of Solicitor Services, said: “Well Within the Law seeks a more intelligently humanised and equitably structured legal system - everywhere law is practised. It’s about bringing dignity together with high-performance, ambition together with kindness, ability together with success.”

Solicitors can access a range of services provided by the Law Society to support the wellbeing and mental health of the profession including clinical supports like LegalMind, Well Within the Law Event for small practices and training through the Wellbeing Hub.
