Inaccurate AI-generated information on disciplinary findings
It has come to the attention of the Law Society that an internet search engine deploying AI-technology is generating inaccurate information in relation to disciplinary findings against solicitors.
This issue has been raised with the service provider concerned.
It is not uncommon for the Law Society's members and the general public to use a search engine to ascertain details of a solicitor. They are entitled to be provided with information that is true, accurate and which correctly identifies the solicitor’s status.
