Refund of court fees update
The Courts Service proposes to issue court fee refunds exclusively by EFT from early 2024.
Proposed changes
The Courts Service invites stakeholder engagement and feedback on this measure, which will involve discontinuing cheque payments to solicitors. Cheque payments from solicitors for court fees will continue to be accepted.
Solicitors will be able to provide their EFT details through the application for refund of court fees form.
