Networking Nexus: Stalking, harassment and unwanted conduct
25/03/2025 13:40:00The Younger Members Committee is hosting an in-person breakfast networking opportunity with colleagues from across the legal profession
This networking event will be centred around a discussion on stalking, harassment and unwanted conduct, from Keith Walsh SC, a leading family law lawyer, and Erin Brogan, FLAC.
Recent studies suggest that 1 in 5 people surveyed have experienced some form of harassment, however over half of those did not report the incident, while 1 in 5 people have never heard of coercive control and couldn’t identify ‘harassment’.
These figures suggest that in any one group of five friends – one may be suffering in silence, and another may be oblivious to the ‘tell-tale’ signs.
Join the conversation as our guests examine the signs of harassment, how to tell when you or a friend are being harassed and how you can use the law to get it to stop.
This is a prime opportunity to meet colleagues, grow your network and explore this important topic at the Younger Members Committee’s first event of 2025. Light refreshments, teas and coffees will be served.
