Well Within the Law Days
A new in-person series of events have been designed to support solicitor wellbeing and build community across the profession. The next event is aimed at small and rural practices, taking place on 11 November in Tipperary. This event is aimed at solicitors working in smaller or rural firms who want to strengthen peer networks and examine resource opportunities.
Foundations of Trauma-Informed Practice
This specialised micro-credential explores the impact of trauma shaped by systemic, cultural and gendered factors and equips professionals with practical skills to respond with care and resilience. Applications remain open with the course starting on 20 October with 15 hours of CPD available.
Well Within the Law Affiliate Programme
The Well Within the Law Affiliate Programme is a new initiative by Law Society Psychological Services aimed at building a network of recognised culture influencers and wellbeing advocates across the Irish legal profession.
Open to solicitors, trainees, legal support staff, and professionals in HR, People & Culture, and Learning & Development, the programme invites those committed to creating healthier legal workplaces to take meaningful action.
Affiliates will gain recognition, connect with like-minded peers, access exclusive events and resources, and contribute to a growing movement focused on driving positive cultural change in law.

Wellbeing at the Foundation of the Legal Profession: Research & Insights
Law Society Psychological Services invites you to a special evening exploring groundbreaking new research on the Trainee Counselling Service, based on eight years of feedback from over 500 trainee solicitors. The findings highlight how early investment in mental health builds confident, resilient lawyers and strengthens the profession as a whole.
