Power, water, and telecoms
According to Gov.ie, the vast majority of those impacted by outages will have their power restored by Friday 31 January. ESB Networks has posted expected restoration times on the PowerCheck website.
The North, West and Midlands areas are most likely to be affected by telecommunications disruption, and repair work is continuing. Calls to emergency services, if necessary, utilise any available network regardless of operator subscription and are expected to continue as normal.
Updates on repairs to local water supplies are available on the Uisce Éireann website.
Revenue update
Revenue has acknowledged that the exceptional weather events have caused difficulties for many and is committed to work with businesses affected by the storm so that good compliance records can remain on track. Revenue’s Collector-General’s office can be contacted on 01 738 3663, or through MyEnquiries.
