Temporary suspension of Pre-2006 Copy Instrument and Copy Vesting Certificate Services
The Conveyancing Committee has been notified of an issue at the Central Filing Repository of Tailte Éireann.
During a recent inspection, the presence of asbestos was detected in part of that facility. As a precautionary measure, access to the affected area has been restricted until it is deemed safe for operations by the Office of Public Works.
As a result, the copy Instrument and copy Vesting Certificate Services for all pre-2006 Instruments is temporarily paused as these records are located within the restricted area. Tailte Eireann has asked that no requests for pre-2006 Instruments be submitted at this time, as staff are currently unable to access or process applications relating to them.
