Cases and issues covered include:

a claim for discrimination on grounds of age for the employer's failure to extend the complainant's retirement date (Joseph Cunningham v Irish Rail, ADJ-00049474);

consideration of whether a person on unpaid lay off could be covered by section 82(4)(a) of the Employment Equality Acts 1998-2015 (Rachel Smyth v Metron Stores Limited t/a Iceland (in liquidation), ADJ-00047680); and
