In 2023, there were 22,076 participants in 169 professional development courses. Stay up-to-date with the latest Law Society training designed by the profession, for the profession.
The Law Society Library helped solicitors with 4,019 research queries, lent 2,745 books and 205 eBooks in 2023. Other services include access to subject guides, reading lists, Irish and UK precedents and the comprehensive LexisLibrary legal database. Get the legal information you need to serve your clients.
Solicitors had access to over 960 Practice Notes, 180 downloadable precedents and made 6,814 bookings at the Law Society’s Four Courts consultation meeting rooms in 2023. Law Society staff are also available to provide additional office support at the Four Courts.
Boost your career through programmes like Women in Leadership (494 participants since 2018). We also offer a programme for solicitors returning to work after a break and a dedicated website for legal job vacancies.
