As the needs of the profession change, the Law Society is committed to improving the delivery of its services in ways that better support solicitors with meeting their ongoing regulatory obligations. Regulation Answers is a free helpline for solicitors requiring information and guidance with general regulatory compliance queries arising from practice. The guidance offered is based on information provided. We do not:

• provide legal advice,

• offer second opinions, or

• comment on specific scenarios or circumstances
