Solicitor Bill Holohan to speak at friendship lecture series

In celebration of 75 years of the independence of India, as well as 100 years of Irish independence, the Ambassador to Ireland His Excellency Akhilesh Mishra is promoting a friendship series of lectures.

The India-Ireland friendship lecture series will acknowledge the long history of Irish law influencing the development of Indian constitutional law and jurisprudence.

Prominent Cork Solicitor and Law Society Council member Bill Holohan SC will deliver an autumn lecture as part of the series.

The topic will be the promotion of mediation and alternative dispute resolution – perspectives from Ireland.

Joint talk

The joint talk will also hear from Indian lawyer and mediator AJ Jawad. Jawad spoke along with Bill Holohan, at the Commonwealth Lawyers Conference in Belfast in May.

The lecture will be delivered on Thursday, 24 November at 10am Irish Time (15.30 hours IST).
