Intensive short course to upskill in sports law

An online course on dispute resolution in sport is being offered by the Institute of Sports Law at the Academy of Leadership Sciences Switzerland (ALSS).

Developed by legal experts, the course is taught by some renowned international sports lawyers:

  • Petra Pocrnic Perica, PhD,
  • Prof Juan de Dios Crespo Perez,
  • Livia Silva Kägi, and
  • Andrea Sherpa-Zimmerman.

The course, which starts tomorrow, 5 March, covers:

  • National and international dispute resolution in sport,
  • Disciplinary matters,
  • Disputes and differences – private tribunals and courts,
  • Dispute resolution at FIFA,
  • CAS jurisdiction,
  • CAS Procedures, and other topics.  

Sports administrators

As a standalone professional development course, it would suit professionals working in the sports industry – including lawyers, sports administrators, sports federations, students and others.

The duration is two hours each week for four weeks, with delivery through English, and the format is 100% live online.

The course fee is CHF 890.
