Dublin office helps lift Browne Jacobson turnover

Law firm Browne Jacobson, which operates in Britain and Ireland, has reported record turnover of Stg £105 million for the year to the end of April 2023.

This represents a 12% increase compared with the previous year and includes a first contribution from Browne Jacobson Ireland LLP.

The firm says that it has more than doubled its turnover since 2014.

Richard Medd (managing partner) described the results as “impressive”, as they were achieved despite domestic and global challenges.

Strong Dublin demand

“Breaking the £100 million ceiling for the first time is one of many significant milestones for the firm this year.

“It also marks the first year that our results include Browne Jacobson Ireland, where having a fully integrated network has already started to reap benefits, with strong demand for our services,” Medd stated.

During the year, Brown Jacobson opened its first international office in Fitzwilliam Square in Dublin.

It hired several new partners during the year — including Jeanne Kelly and Ciaran Markey in Dublin.
